Artistic Director Jeremy Anderson kicks off the season with The Importance Of Being Earnest. Often endeared as, “a trivial comedy for serious people,” this delightful romp of mistaken identities, witty banter, and larger-than-life characters is arguably one of the greatest comedies ever written. It is Oscar Wilde's most famous and successful play and is a guaranteed charmer with its fast-paced sharp wit. The Importance of Being Earnest is a hilarious story of romance, secret identities, and cucumber sandwiches.
Capping off the season with dance-filled, Thoroughly Modern Millie. Director Jeremy Anderson presents, "a zany Tony Award winning musical" filled with tap dancing flappers, a soaring score and unforgettable hilarious characters. You’ll be transported back to the height of the Jazz Age when "moderns" were bobbing their hair, raising their hemlines, and rewriting the rules of love. This high-spirited romp is a delightful spectacular musical masterpiece that is a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment.
