Broadway's timeless classic! Leapin' Lizards! The irrepressible comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world's best-loved musicals. With songs that will keep you smiling and singing for hours and a story that is chock full of hope. We are delighted to bring this classic timeless musical to our main stage for the Fall/Winter show in our 2026/2027 season. This show is for ages 9 - Adult.

This is an all ages main stage musical with kids, teens, and adults. This is an audition only program. Every actor must audition into the show.

Show Synopsis:
Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, ANNIE has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Hard Knock Life", You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile", & "Tomorrow."

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Annie is the perfect family-friendly musical!With songs that will keep you smiling and singing for hours and a story that is chock full of hope. Annie is the perfect family-friendly musical! 

Audition Requirements: Actors will need to prepare a 30-60 seconds of a monologue to perform. Actor’s will also need to prepare 60 seconds of a song to sing (verse & chorus). An accompanist will NOT be available. Actors can bring their own accompaniment or sing a cappella. Actors may be asked to do a cold reading from the script and should come prepared to move.

Audition Dates/Times:

  • Individual Auditions will be Thursday September 3rd 6pm-8:30pm - every actor must sign up for a time slot

  • Student Call Backs will be on Tuesday, September 22nd 6pm-8:30pm

  • Adult Call Backs will be on Friday, September 25th 6pm-8:30pm 

  • Specific Character Call Backs will be on Saturday, September 26th 5pm-8:30pm - actors are required to come to auditions and call backs.

Rehearsal Dates & Times:

  • Every Tuesdays & Friday from 6pm-8:30pm

  • Every Saturday, some in the evenings between 5pm-8:30pm & some Saturday mornings 9am-2pm.

  • Some Sundays between 1pm-5pm

  • Finalized calendar with specific dates & times for each actor will be made after show is cast.

  • First rehearsal: Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6pm

Tuition/Fees (payment plans are available):

  • Tuition: $495

  • Materials/Registration Fee: $150

  • Costume Fee: $100

  • Tuition is less than $90 a month (after costume & registration fees)!

Ticket Sales/Business Sponsorship:  

***All participants will be required to sell at least 20 tickets to the performances.*** OR find a business sponsor to sponsor the performance.

Attendance requirements:

Actors will only be called when they are needed. Actors are required to attend every rehearsal they are called to unless conflicts/absences are submitted to the director before November 1st.

Tech Week & Performances:  Tech week & Performances will be in late February OR March. Dates will be finalized in October. Tech Week & Final performances are mandatory for all involved in the program.
