What Are Theater Summer Camps?

Theater Summer Camps for students at Anderlin Arts condenses the entire process of musical theater into just a five-day intensive program, ending with a live performance for family and friends to enjoy. This is the perfect way for students, whether they have previous experience or not, to enjoy the challenge and thrill of Broadway-quality productions which include hit shows like Annie, Newsies, Beauty and The Beast, Frozen, Sound of Music, Music Man, and many more. We have programs designed for both 5-11 and 10-18 age ranges so that kids can perform alongside their peers, receive professional instruction in singing, dancing, and acting, and build new friendships in the process.

Theater Summer Camps for younger kids are the best “dip their toe into theater” experience. Each day they will spend a half day learning new songs, dialogue, and dances, taught from professional instructors.  Additionally, they will spend part of each day working on creative art projects and theater-related games to help develop fine motor skills and to think about the world of theater. The 10-18 Theater Summer Camp program dives deeper into a hit Broadway production, complete with higher caliber sets, costuming, and props. Students will audition for roles, practice professional singing and dance routines, and perform live in front of their family and friends on the final day of the program.
