The Importance Of Being Earnest (2016)

Director: Jeremy Anderson
ASST. DIRECTOR: Katy Hagelin

Set in Victorian England in the 1890s, two clever young bachelors, the dependable John Worthing (Michael Swindle) and elegant playboy Algernon Moncrieff (Alek White), feel compelled to create different identities in order to pursue two eligible ladies Cecily Cardew (Jenna Moffat) and Gwendolen Fairfax (Alicia Anderson). The courting process ensues as the suitors try to keep ahead of their own deception. With some of the finest dialogue to be found in theatre, The Importance of Being Earnest is a hilarious story of romance, secret identities and cucumber sandwiches.
